Gianfar Peaks of Pern roleplay is Pern inspired roleplay. Tiny Empires Gianfar Kingdom is a hud based game whose home is in our sims in their own skybox. They are not related to each other and TE Gianfar members are not required to participate in the roleplay, but TE Gianfar members have the right to be in the sims providing they abide the rules (current OOC rules and, once we launch, Visitor Rules) and will get extra perqs and rights. Their home is Gianfar, too.
Pern Inspired Roleplay:
At the moment we are putting all new applicants for the Gianfar Peaks of Pern roleplay into the Dragons of Pern group, regardless of the role you hope to play. When we open officially the primary group will be the Gianfar Peaks of Pern group, but while we are in construction the only people who are in that group are residents, admins (Guardian of Gianfar), and those with a reason to build. Once we open there will be some group shuffling, so if you join DoP now understand you may need to change when we launch. DoP is the current primary group in Gianfar Peaks and they get all the announcements, notices and networking abilities.
To join DoP you should write a notecard introducing yourself, telling us a bit about your knowledge of Pern, and letting us know what role you are considering playing. Drop the notecard in the "Drop Hides Here" dropper, the blue vase, located at the Gianfar sim spawning point. Someone will contact you about joining as soon as they can give you their undivided attention. If you attempt to circumvent the dropper to join the group do not be surprised if you are ignored. We are all quite busy building the sims and trying to get the roleplay launched. We are happy to give our time to those who help us facilitate that process, and we tend to ignore those who don't bother to do their homework first.
If you have questions you should feel free to contact any of the
mentors, who are listed on this website and have online status
indicators at the Gianfar sim spawning point. Please don't ask them to add you to the group, the above process is required.
Tiny Empires Gianfar:
There are several ways to join the Gianfar Tiny Empires group. The most expedient way is to contact any of the members on the Tiny Empires ~ Gianfar ~ group and tell them you'd like to join. All our members are happy to add new people to their lines and help you get started. You might find TE Gianfarians in the sims. Their tags always have asterisks in them, such as *Gianfar Liege* *Prince of Gianfar* etc. There are also "Soo Novi Wants You for Tiny Empires" information giver boxes in the sims. There is a "Join Us" button on the menu of those givers and it will send an email to Soo Novi telling her you'd like to join TE Gianfar (NOT the Pern roleplay). Soo Novi will make sure someone who can help you gets back to you to get you into the realm!
There is a teleport at the Gianfar sim spawning point to the TE Gianfar skybox. Please be aware that TE Gianfarians are fond of their skins, and it is not uncommon for there to be nudity and/ or adult themes occuring in the skybox. If you do not wish to be exposed to this you should not visit the skybox. If you are in a child avatar we request that you change to an adult avatar before visiting the skybox to remain in compliance with Second Life® Terms of Service regarding child avatars and mature themes. The only exception to this request is for the year immediately following a Mysterious Trader visit, when adult themes are not allowed at the TE gathering place on Gianfar.

To participate in this website you only need to read the Rules, be over 18 years of age, and register. You do not need to be a member of Second Life® to participate on this website. Guests are welcome, but have reduced viewing abilities and can not post.

The "Gianfar Peaks of Pern," "Gianfar," "TE Gianfar" names, and the permutations thereof, are owned by Soo Novi, a resident of Second Life, and used solely by agreement with Soo Novi.
No use of the Gianfar name is permitted without expressed authorization. Absolutely NO merchandise or sale items are allowed without an agreement with Soo Novi.
Use of the TE Gianfar name will require the agreement of Soo Novi and BigBadaBoom Bing. While it is not our intention to stifle your enthusiasm or support, we reserve all rights to the use of this name.
You may use these names to reference your support and affiliation with these groups, particularly in your profiles and such. You may not create merchandise or claim approval for created items, whether given or sold, or create events, name land and locations, or in any way claim affiliation beyond your membership and support, without expressed consent as above.
